The Danube Bend – An excursion into Hungary’s history along the Blue Danube

DESCRIPTION

(3 historic places in 1 day) – We make a short visit by bus to Slovakia and drive back to Esztergom, (Center of the Catholic Church) – interior visit of the Cathedral and after that  we show you a great view of the Danube Valley at Visegrád (the former Royal Residence). After the Lunch (3-course menu with 1 mineral water) – we carry on to Szentendre (guided walk in the Artist’s village) at the end of the tour we return to Budapest on the Danube by public scheduled boat (from April 28 until the 1st of October) (Duration: 1 hour) – the tour ends at the Pier/City Centre.

Day 1 :
ITINERARY

Return by boat between 2023 Apr 28 – Sept 17, in case of low water and during winter time return to Budapest by bus.
The duration of the tour is only approximate and the actual time depends on the traffic situation

09:00 AM – Tour starts from Hotel Intercontinental

11:00 AM – Esztergom/Cathedral interior visit/Photostop at the Slovakian border

12:30 PM – Visegrád/Lunch

15:00 PM – Szentendre

17:00 PM – Boat trip to Budapest

18:00 PM – Tour ends at Vigadó Square/or Hotel Intercontinental, Budapest (City Center)
